Hi, my name is Erin and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I am originally from Albuquerque, NM and graduated with my Master's degree from New Mexico Highlands University. Over the past 16 years, I have worked with children, youth, and families in a variety of settings. I specialize in eating disorders, body dysmorphia, OCD, anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, and trauma work. I also specialize in working with neurodivergent individuals (children, teens, adults), including autism, IDD, and challenging behaviors. I am trained in Child Parent Psychotherapy (CPP) for families with young children as well as Trauma Focused-CBT.
I have a passion for helping people become the best versions of themselves! My goal is to create a tailored plan just for you. No two people are alike and I believe that therapy should be customized to fit your needs. I believe therapy should be a safe place and we work together to create that for you. I truly believe that therapy is for everyone no matter their background, beliefs, or age. No problem is too big or too small. Many of my clients have struggled with food, body issues, and/or eating disorders. Throughout our work together, I believe that everyone can have a healthy relationship with food and their body. It is possible! I love helping people achieve body neutrality and acceptance and smashing ANY "social norm" that makes us feel less than. For children and adolescents, I work hard to create a welcoming and safe environment where kids can not only express themselves but are free to explore and learn from their own emotions and experiences.

My name is Liz and I am a licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LPCC). I believe that every person is equipped with the power, right, and ability to improve their own life. I practice from a strengths-based and solution-focused approach, looking at what the client is already equipped with and what is already working to inform how we move forward together. I also believe that looking outside the client is important in fully understanding what brings them into therapy, recognizing the role that gender, social, political, economic, and multicultural issues have on emotional well-being and health. I have a background working with individuals struggling with eating disorders, which has given me experience working with people of diverse ages and genders, addressing body image issues, anxiety, depression, and general life stresses and challenges.
I incorporate tools from various modalities into my practice, including CBT, ACT, DBT, mindfulness, and positive psychology. I am flexible in approach and like to collaborate with my clients to determine what will help them meet their therapeutic goals. It is my hope that clients who work with me leave feeling empowered and recognize their own agency and worthiness. I understand that therapy can sometimes feel intimating, and create nonjudgemental space where all people, experiences, and emotions are welcome. While therapy is challenging work, it is also be a place to celebrate successes and welcome humor and joy.
I was born and raised in Phoenix and feel so lucky to now call Albuquerque home. In my spare time, I enjoy hiking, baking, reading, and spending as much time as possible outside.

Hello, my name is Dr. Cheryl Aiken , PsyD LPCC. I obtained my Bachelor’s degree in psychology, and my Master’s and Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology. My Psychotherapist career of 30+ years has consisted of working with Children, Parents, Teens, and Adults to address various mental health issues and help individuals become the best version of themselves.
Children learn, grow, and heal best through play. I provide children with the opportunity to engage in this important work through play therapy sessions.
Parenting is one of the most important jobs a person can have and at times one of the hardest. I provide parents with the support and encouragement they need to be successful in parenting.
Today’s world provides many challenges for teens. They are bombarded with many negative messages through social media, challenged to use or not use illicit substances, and have worries of safety at school and in the community. One of the major tasks of adolescents is to discover who you are and what you want to do with your life. These pressurescan lead Teens to depression, anxiety, anger, and confusion. Psychotherapy can help Teens learn new coping skills, problem solving skills, and a better since of self.
Adults feel all the pressures of society with the added stress of working, paying bills, resolving family issues, and resolving individual issues Psychotherapy assists individuals in shedding the emotional injuriesand traumas that have negatively impacted their life path.
I believe in the healing nature of relationship in therapy to strengthen parent child relationships, couples’ relationships, sibling relationships, friend relationships as well as individual mental health issues. I enjoy the work that I do and accomplish my work through use of play therapy, couples therapy, individual therapy and parenting support and consultation.

My approach to therapy is client-centered. I work with my clients to explore their thought processes, behaviors, and emotions to understand the ways in which these are holding them back from living their best lives. I believe that all people are inclined to help themselves, and that every person has the innate capacity for healing and growth. I partner with my clients to form a therapeutic relationship that supports their individual growth and change, whatever that may look like to them. My office is a safe space designed to cultivate exploration and recovery. During a first visit, clients should expect to be welcomed and to share what it is that brought them in and to begin to formulate therapeutic goals. I approach my practice from a holistic perspective and understand that all areas of life are tied together in creating mental and physical health. I honor my clients as individuals, and pull from different treatment modalities to work with my clients to design a treatment that meets them where they are.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), I strive to understand you as the unique person you are within your many roles and relationships. Perhaps you are an adolescent or college student facing stressful changes in life and identity, a new parent adjusting to the needs of your family, an adult who wants to address a distressing relationship or pattern, or someone struggling with a new disability or diagnosis; whatever your unique situation is, you are taking an important step by reaching out.
I have worked in college mental health, veteran support services, primary care, community behavioral health, and inpatient palliative care—all of which provided opportunity to work with people of diverse ethnic, political, economic, sexual, cultural and gender identities. I am shaped by ongoing study of strength-based, relational, attachment and trauma-informed, cognitive-behavioral, and mindfulness-based therapy modalities. I am also an accredited case manager (ACM-SW), yoga teacher (RYT-200) and Reiki II practitioner, and I often use my training in breathwork and somatic therapies to help you find a greater sense of connection to yourself.
Born and raised in Northwest Montana, I made my way through Australia, Seattle and Washington, DC, before happily settling in Albuquerque. My intention is to help guide my clients back to whole living. I look forward to meeting you!

As a neuroqueer Black Korean American social worker, I bring both professional and lived experiences that are uniquely relevant to supporting clients who straddle multiple intersecting social locations, particularly those that confer both disadvantage and privilege. I am most drawn to working with clients who want to address attachment/interpersonal-relational, identity, and self-esteem/worth issues. My therapeutic approach emphasizes insight and process using the therapeutic relationship to connect past, present, and future concerns, and I primarily use psychodynamic and psychoanalytic approaches in my work with clients. Clients who prefer less structure, want a deeper understanding of themselves, and want to have more authentic relationships with themselves and others seem to work best with me. I believe therapy is both brave and political, and I look forward to supporting you in bravely uncovering the psychic and sociopolitical influences keeping you from your potential.

Hi there! My name is Hannah and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I moved to New Mexico from the East Coast after making the decision to create a more meaningful and authentic life for myself.
You’ll find as we work together, I bring a spirit of curiosity and interrelatedness through warmth, validation, and compassion. I started my career working with adolescents and later transitioned to adult therapy. My professional experience as a clinician extends from suicide and crisis support to helping those struggling with problematic substance use. As of late, my work has focused on treating those with mood and/or anxiety disorders.
I primarily use Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) with clients. DBT involves mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotional regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness. I was first introduced to DBT in my own life through personal therapy, and found it to be so effective that I carried it over into my practice with clients. I earned a Bachelor’s in Psychology from the University of Texas at San Antonio and a Master’s in Social Work from Florida State University. In my freetime, I enjoy tending to my house plants, relaxing to Van Morrison’s Veedon Fleece album, and using a backyard cattle feeder for cold plunges. I detested the cold plunge at first, but now I can proudly say I can withstand five minutes in that cold water!
Life can be hard and it can be worth living. Someone once told me that New Mexico is a special place of healing and I know this to be true. Through small consistent actions, you can create the kind of life you want and we can do it together. I hope to meet you soon!

I am a LCSW and received my Bachelor’s Degree in Religious Studies from the University of New Mexico, and my Masters of Social Work with a concentration in mental health from the University of Denver. I have experience in working with a diverse range of clients from across the lifespan, and am now focusing my work with adults, 18 and up. What I am most passionate about is helping trauma and abuse survivors, people struggling through life transitions, helping new parents, family and relational concerns, anxiety, depression, emotional dysregulation, and burnout. Because of these passions I received training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and work with other trauma treatments to help survivors. I also use other treatments such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness based CBT, Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) and enjoy working with other creative and brain and body-based interventions. I approach work with my clients from a collaborative and strengths-based point of view, and work to foster a safe, caring, inclusive environment to help you work towards your goals and create change for yourself.
I was raised here in the Albuquerque area, moved to Colorado in 2014 and then to Wyoming in 2016, and returned back home in 2018. In my free time I enjoy gardening, cooking and baking, yoga, being with loved ones, reading, being artistically creative and watching TV and movies.

My name is Alicia and I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. I’ve had the opportunity to work in a variety of settings such as schools, juvenile detention facilities, drug and alcohol treatment centers, outpatient mental health hospitals, and military installations.
I have spent a large part of my career working with both adolescents and adults battling addictive behaviors and helping them to regain their power to achieve a healthier, happier life they deserve for themselves and for the people they love. I use a strength based and solution focused approach to help guide my clients towards achieving their personal goals towards overall wellness.
Another one of my passions is serving the military population. I have worked for the past several years as a therapist contracted to work with service members and their families and it has been an absolute honor to help those who work to keep our country safe every day.
I utilize a variety of different techniques to work with my clients and will adjust my approach to best meet the needs of everyone on an individual basis. I believe that therapy is a collaborative process and I use a flexible mindset and will encourage you to do the same.
In my free time you will likely find me on a mountain biking trail, hiking, trying new foods, traveling, or finding a swimming spot for my water loving dog. I get excited about exploring new places, trying new things, and experiencing everything life has to offer. Sometimes life is about stepping out of your comfort zone and for many people, that starts right here!
